ANAEROBICS/THREADLOCKERS

ANAEROBIC / THREADLOCKERS adhesive/sealants are formulated for use in thread locking, sealing, fastening and retaining of metal components. This material is designed to eliminate the need for mechanical locking devices such as lock washers, set screws, lock nuts and cotter pins. Units assembled with this type of adhesive resists vibration and seals against corrosion, seizure, solvents, and other chemicals that might lead to a loose joint or assembly. Because anaerobic/Threadlockers cure in the absence of air they harden in the spaces between the bolt threads or other tight fitting assemblies locking the parts in place.

Suggested Usage: Anaerobic/Threadlockers are formulated primarily for use on metals, other type of threadlockers are available for plastics and other materials.
