PAD PRINTING

Zhermack RTV 2 addition cured silicone rubbers, for their elevated mechanical resistance, elastic return and excellent ink transfer control are the preferred materials for Pad Printing.

Silicone Pad Printing is a technique often employed in a wide range of applications.  ZHERMACK has developed its silicone rubbers in collaboration with the world's leading companies in the Pad Printing market.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

  • Silicone Rubbers that vulcanize at room temperature
  • Absolute dimensional stability in time
  • High mechanical resistance
  • Great fluidity
  • Ink transfer control
  • Excellent elastic return

  • Silicone pad printing products are easy-to-use 1 to 1 mix ratio. No more measuring base to catalysts.
  • Platinum catalyzed RTV2 silicones-not condensation curing systems that rely on humidity to activate the vulcanization of the silicone. Certain environments can affect your standard condensation cure silicones that you currently use-These products are not affected by humidity levels during the curing stage.
  • Silicones cure much more rapidly and thoroughly. Cure times can also be shortened by using heat after pouring pads if needed; up to 150ºC. Pour pads in the morning and ship out to your customers by the end of the day.
  • Lower viscosity silicones-easy to mix both part A and part B together with little or no air entrapment-No de-airing required in most cases.
