BUTYL HIGH BOND

We carry tapes comparable to those offered by 3M. High bond structural adhesive tapes. Available in solid core and foam.
Economical, general purpose sealant.
Recommended Usage: Solar Market, Thermal management, Trucking and transportation, Architectural & Glazing, Window and Door, Window Installation, HVAC, Metal Building.
The inherent tack, aging resistance and low permeability of butyl-type polymers account for their use in various adhesive applications. A number of partially cross-linked butyl rubbers are commercially available. Many of these are specifically produced for the adhesives and sealants markets. The wide selection of completely compatible materials in the family of isobutylene polymers permits the knowledgeable compounder to achieve a wide range of properties.
