Description
Permabond Gaseal 2L is a red, thixotropic liquid with high viscosity for sealing joints where the leak is large. The higher viscosity is needed to retain the sealant in a large leak path long enough for it to cure. This grade will normally be used only if Gaseal 1L or Gaseal 3L is not sealing the leak path. It is a single component liquid. It is 100% reactive, contains no solvents, and requires no mixing. With the absence of air and the active surfaces found in the gas main joint, it cures at ambient temperatures.
