Description
Chem-Set TrimGrip FS (Fast-Set) is a two-part methacrylate, UV-stable, structural bonding adhesive designed specifically to bond cellular PVC boards for residential and commercial construction projects. Once cured, Chem-Set TrimGrip FS provides excellent adhesion and bond strength. Chem-Set TrimGrip FS has a working time of 2-4 minutes at 72º F and achieves nearly 90 percent of its ultimate strength in 30 minutes at room temperature curing.
Chem-Set TrimGrip FS does not require any special surface preparation and will cure to be stronger than the PVC Trim itself. Once cured the adhesive will provide a nice consistency for a smooth look with excellent expansion and contraction capabilities. Trimgrip FS can bond various substrates, including all brands of CPVC board, fiberglass, steel, aluminum, and various plastics with generally no preparation effort. It is UV stable and will not yellow over time to any significant degree.
