In late April, we prepared you for pool season with a blog on how to identify and fix pool and spa leaks. Now, as we hit the home stretch of Summer, we wanted to revisit the topic of pool repair and maintenance, realizing that the warmer weather may allow another month or more of primetime poolside fun. Classic Products

H2O Glue – If you’ve heard us talk about pool and spa repair, or read what we’ve had to say about it, H2O Glue has likely been part of the conversation.  This two-part adhesive and sealant is used to repair and seal pools, fountains, spas, and sprinklers. It has even been leveraged to maintain and fix equipment at water parks, arboretums, and golf courses. This underwater adhesive is especially multi-faceted, having literally hundreds of uses, which is why it’s been long trusted and utilized by pool and recreational facilitators for maintenance and repair.

H2O Glue Sticky Stuff – Another classic pool repair product is the H2O Glue Sticky Stuff adhesive system, which comes both in 30 lb. canisters and extremely convenient small aerosol cans. This product is advantageous for installing vinyl pool liners, as it seals and waterproofs the pool surface ahead of the water. The Sticky Stuff 30 lb. canister, which works in tandem with the H2O Glue Extension Gun and hose, offers fast application, excellent coverage, and a wide spray pattern.

New Faces

Pacer E-Z Fuse Tape – Pacer’s E-Z Fuse Tape is a self-fusing, insulating tape material that ensures an airtight, waterproof, and UV-resistant seal once cured. Although a versatile product, often used for automotive, electrical, and general purpose applications, E-Z Fuse is particularly effective with marine, plumbing, and water hose repair applications. A large part of maintaining pools, spas, and fountains is ensuring that hoses, pipes, water lines, and other gadgets are functioning without issue, and without leaks. E-Z Fuse Tape from Pacer is the perfect product to maintain these types of accessories and parts.

Sikaflex 1a – Last on our list, but not least in any measure, is the 1a polyurethane elastomeric sealant from Sika. This one part sealant has great resistance to water and has the capacity to thrive and maintain its seal even in submerged conditions like a pool or spa. It’s perfect for filling and sealing joints in and around water, and has the ability also to endure the rigors of expansion and weathering.
