Devcon’s 10 Minute Epoxy, available in both clear and black, is a two-component epoxy paste that provides dependable adhesion to metals like copper, aluminum, steel, brass and galvanized steel. This flexible epoxy formula, given its success in bonding these types of metals, is used often in industries like metalworking, furniture, signage/display, and appliance repair and manufacturing.  With just a 10 minute working time, 10 Minute Epoxy gets its name for its ability to cure very rapidly and achieve a workable bond.

Where and How to use 10 Minute Epoxy

Devcon’s 10 Minute Epoxy is intended for use with signs, appliances, furniture repair/assembly, and metalworking projects.  Before applying the epoxy, any build-up of grease, oil or dirt should be wiped away from the surface, using a solvent when necessary. Next, mix the two components at a ratio of 1:1 and begin with the application process.

Application Guidelines

1. Apply the mixed epoxy directly to one surface in a uniform bead
2. Assemble with the mating part within the recommended working time (10 minutes)
3. Firmly apply pressure between mating parts to minimize any gaps and ensure good contact

*For large gaps, apply the epoxy to both surfaces and spread to cover the entire area or follow a bead pattern that flows throughout the joint.
