We’ve recently put this tool to good use for two of more popular products, the C-20 and C-30 Seaming Adhesives, from our very own brand, Chem-Set.

How it works

Because of the sheer number of available colors and the hassle that can often times accompany finding the perfect color match to complement surfaces like marble, granite, or quartz countertops, color matching can be no easy task. With our innovative tool, just a few clicks from your mouse is all that you need to find just the right color match.

As you can see in the above graphic, the system generates color options, for both C20 and C30 products, from just a few simple, completed fields. The top field denotes either Manufacturer Color or the Number that could be associated with that color. The second field is a list of dozens of reputable stone manufacturers that distribute to our customers. The third variable is selecting, or de-selecting, the type of stone you’re working with – these include Granite and Marble, Porcelain, Quartz, Sintered Stone, Solid Surface, or “Other.” After each of these steps are marked or selected by the user, the C-20/C-30 Color Match Tool retrieves a color match. With over 200 colors in our system, we’ll find a match for virtually any manufacturer color.

Why It’s Important – Countertops, breakfast bars, kitchen islands, and even bathroom vanities can many times be the focal point of a room or even a home. And because seaming gaps, lines and cracks are part of every installation or repair project when dealing with natural or sintered stone, the very best color match is necessary not just to bond the surface but to achieve a “seamless” appearance.  

C-20/C-30 Products

The C-20 Seaming Adhesive and C-30 Dripless Seaming Adhesive are two-part methacrylates that are used most often to bond and seam stone surfaces like granite or quartz. They have good chemical resistance and achieve initial strength and routable time faster than any other product(s) available.
