Sikalevel SkimCoat

This easy-to-use skim coating is ideal for the repair of concrete subfloors, but it also works well as a final floor covering. It ideally fills voids and leveling defects up to ½” in depth. This versatile skim coating is suitable for use with radiant heating systems, and applies quickly. It is an excellent standard of finish can be achieved to allow direct application to brand-new concrete floorings.

Sikalevel Concrete Primer and Sealer

If you’re looking to lay brand-new flooring, the surface to be covered first needs to be primed. Sikalevel Concrete Primer and Sealer is a one-part acrylic resin polymer designed to prime and seal concrete prior to underlayment application.  This polymer prevents water loss into the substrate and provides excellent protection against varying application temperatures.

Of course, the Sikalevel Concrete Primer works particularly well with our Sikalevel 125 Self-Leveling Underlayment. The primer allows bubbles to form in the screed, ideal for improving the bond between the substrate and the mortar.

Now that we’ve discussed primer, we can get started on the substrate being leveled. Sikalevel Self-Leveling Underlayment is a durable, versatile cement underlayment for interior concrete. Rapid-setting and self-smoothing, this underlayment is ideal in any situation where a flat floor covering is to follow.

This underlayment is ideal for flooring in schools, hospitals, libraries, museums, hotels, offices, garages, and more. Floor coverings such as carpet, vinyl, or engineered hardwood can be installed after 1-3 days. With the ability to be applied either manually or by pump, this underlayment is perfect for any interior flooring situation. It should be noted that this underlayment is not suitable for slopes or inclines up to >0.5% and should also be protected for the first few hours from excessive heat.
