Permabond is a globally recognized producer of the highest-quality anaerobic adhesives, cyanoacrylates, UV adhesives, polyurethanes, methacrylates and epoxies. With humble beginnings in the UK in the early 1960’s, Permabond has exploded onto the scene after exploring a business venture with Pearl Chemical, a Florida-based business based in cyanoacrylates after they “accidentally” discovered the technology.

Today, Permabond has joined forces with even more structural adhesive giants, creating a passionate and fast-paced focus on innovation. This drive has resulted in more than 30 new products to the Permabond lineup within 18 months.

Permabond is currently working to evolve adhesive technology in plastics, alloys, and innovative composites. With the global effort and support brought forth by distributors such as Chemical Concepts, Permabond is looking to the future with bright eyes and big ideas.

With their sights set on innovation, Permabond has developed some of our biggest sellers, such as the Permabond 170 methyl cyanoacrylate adhesive. This revolutionary cyanoacrylate is specifically formulated for a rapid cure and strength development, all while being less aggressive to sensitive plastics such as Styrofoam, polycarbonate, and ABS.

Another big seller is the Permabond HM165 Anaerobic Adhesive & Sealant, which is a high-viscosity anaerobic retaining compound. It cures when pressed between metal parts to form a very high-strength bond. This adhesive is ideal for cylindrical parts where high temperature resistance is required, such as in automotive work or HVAC systems.

One of the more unique products supplied by Permabond is the LH051 Thread and Pipe Sealant, which has excellent chemical and temperature resistance that makes it ideal for hydraulic system, heavy duty machinery, and construction equipment adhesion.
