Color Match Tool

Our very own Seaming Adhesive Color Match Tool allows you to match and compare the surface you are using for your project with the appropriate Chem-set Seaming Adhesive color. Users choose the type or manufacturer of their surface and select from the numerous color options. Once both the surface manufacturer and color are selected, the tool displays the color name and part number of the matching adhesive. There are dozens of surface manufacturers to choose from, and many more colors to provide you with the color match you’re looking for. For example, we will choose Corian (a popular solid surface manufacturer). Once this is selected, a list of Corian colors is generated in the drop down menu below. We will chose “Sandstone”. The search yields our matching adhesive colors. Most surfaces will have color matches for both our original Chem-set C-19 series and our new and improved C-20 series. In this example the color matches are “Clay” and “Stone” for the C-19 and C-20 respectively. Depending on customer preference and availability, either the C-19 or the C-20 product can be used and both are appropriate matches for the selected surface material. As you can see, with just a few clicks you can come up with the perfect match for your next project and order it on the spot!

C19 and C20 – For Use on Solid Surface and Quartz

The Chem-Set C-19 and C-20 are two-part methacrylate adhesives designed for the seamless bonding of solid surface and quartz. These formulas are UV stable, non-yellowing, and have the ability to reach 90% of total bonding strength just 25 minutes after curing at room temperature. Chem-Set’s Methacrylates also boast the fastest initial strength and quickest “routable” time from the point of dispensing than any other contemporary adhesive available in the marketplace. Although the original C-19 series is an incredible seaming adhesive the new C-20 series offers the following improvements:

• Slightly faster gel time
• More aggressive bond

C30 Marblemaster – For Use on Marble and Granite, Quartz and Engineered Stone Products

Unlike the C-19 and C-20, the new C30 Marblemaster was designed specifically for use with marble, granite and other natural stone products. Due its inherent advantages, some fabricators may prefer this adhesive for use with Quartz and sintered stone products such as Dekton and Lapitec as well. With over 90+ colors, this brand new adhesive is finally what many fabricators of granite and marble have been looking for. What is the difference between our C30 and our C19/C20? Let us tell you:
