Description
Ruscoe Permanent Sealer is a nitrile rubber sealant packaged in a 10.3 oz cartridge for gun-applied joint sealing. It is used where crews need a flexible, weather-resistant seal on doors, windows, metal buildings, masonry joints, and other openings exposed to water, air, dirt, and routine outdoor service.
Permanent Sealer Benefits
- Nitrile rubber base gives a flexible cured seal that stays useful across changing weather conditions.
- High-viscosity non-sag profile is suited to vertical, overhead, slanted, and angular surfaces.
- Manufacturer literature states no primer is required on properly prepared substrates.
- Can be applied in relatively low temperatures, which helps on field jobs outside ideal shop conditions.
- Adheres to porous and non-porous materials including glass, metal, concrete, brick, masonry, and wood.
The Ruscoe technical sheet for the high-viscosity version identifies this product as a cartridge-applied sealant available in aluminum, white, and brown. The same sheet lists 90 g/L VOC, acetone cleanup, and typical use on openings and lap joints greater than 1/8 inch. Chemical Concepts also positions the product for aluminum, steel, glass, wood, rigid vinyls, mobile homes, swimming pools, recreational vehicles, and boats.
