Application Guidance
Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of dust, grease, oil, rust, wax, or other contaminants. Stir thoroughly before use and do not thin. Apply adhesive uniformly to both surfaces with a minimum of 80% coverage (100% coverage recommended at edges), using approved spray equipment. Allow adhesive to dry 2–5 minutes until tacky with no transfer to the hand, then assemble within 45 minutes. Once contact is made, repositioning is not possible. Apply firm, uniform pressure (approximately 30 psi) across the bonded area. Allow bonded parts to cure at least 72 hours before exposure to direct sunlight or temperatures above 150°F (65.6°C). Do not use on vinyls, polystyrene foam, copper substrates, or with copper spray components.
Typical Use Cases
- High-pressure laminate bonding
- Postforming operations
- Panel fabrication
- Industrial laminating lines
- OEM component assembly
- Millwork and cabinetry production
Target Industries and Buyers
- Cabinet and countertop manufacturers
- Architectural millwork shops
- Industrial fabricators

- Sign and display producers
Performance Advantages
CMT208 Red combines high solids content with low viscosity to support efficient spray application and rapid drying. Its strong initial tack and green strength allow for immediate bond formation and faster processing compared to slower-drying contact adhesives, while maintaining durability and heat resistance required for postforming and laminate fabrication.
