Weld-On Acrylic Solvent Cements (MC-Free & Legacy)

Now Shipping: MC-Free Weld-On 3, 4 & 16

The next generation of acrylic solvent cements has arrived. Weld-On 3, 4 & 16 are now available in fully reformulated versions that remove
methylene chloride (MC) and trichloroethylene (TCE)—without sacrificing bond strength, cure speed, or clarity. These DCM & TCE Free alternatives are engineered to meet new EPA regulations while preserving the performance that sign makers and plastic fabricators demand.

Key EPA & OSHA Deadlines

  • 31 Jul 2025: IPS completes final production of MC-based Weld-On
  • 28 Jan 2026: Distributors must stop sales; end-users without WCPP must stop use
  • 28 Apr 2034: WCPP holders may continue solvent welding through this date

Plan Your Transition

Chemical Concepts now stocks both legacy MC-based products (while supplies last) and new MC-free formulas for Weld-On 3, 4 & 16.
The updated versions offer the same viscosity grades, set times, and application methods—no retraining required. Request SDS sheets, performance data, or sample stock to validate in your process.
