ChemSet RTV 6500 Hi-Temp Silicone

SikaTop 144 Cement Coating

Sika’s 144 Cement Coating is a two component, polymer-modified cementitious coating designed for use with masonry substrates. Its waterproofing/damp-proofing qualities make it stand out as an option for applications like portable water tanks or architectural curtain wall panels. This abrasion resistant formula can easily be administered by brush, roller, or spray equipment and also effectively guards against repeated exposure to deicing salts, as well as the hazards of water.

Permbond LH050 Pure Pipe Sealant

It may seem obvious that a pipe sealant would have waterproof properties, but Permabond’s LH050 Pure made our list of useful water-proofers none the less. LH050 Pure is an anaerobic, single component paste that only cures when in contact with metal parts, and when oxygen is excluded. This provides for an instant seal once male and female parts are joined and the assembly is cured, blocking out water, hydraulic fluids, air, and other gases or chemicals. LH050 is a great alternative to pipe tapes and dopes in sealing joints, and it works well on most metals, especially steel and brass.

Permatex #66 Clear Silicone Adhesive Sealant

Permatex 66 is a multi-purpose RTV sealant that can be used in bonding, mending and waterproofing glass, metal, vinyl, plastic, and other substrates. It’s flexible and can effectively resist not only water, but oil, vibration, grease, and the elements too. Permatex 66 is an affordable, general use sealant that can be used virtually anywhere (interior and exterior) that every contractor should have on hand.
