Install a fresh tip when mixed material has cured in the nozzle or when the product instructions require a clean restart. Before applying adhesive to the repair, balance or purge the cartridge as directed, attach the mixer securely, and dispense a verification bead. A streaked or inconsistent bead can indicate that the two components have not reached a uniform mix. Discard that material and proceed only after the bead appears consistent with the adhesive instructions.

Do not attempt to clean and reuse a mixer after the adhesive begins curing inside the elements. Keep unused tips clean and protected from shop debris, and store the selected cartridge, applicator, and tip together to reduce setup errors.
