Description
The Techcon TS1212 pinch tube is the disposable, fluid-contact component in the TS1212 valve family, and it is one of the most frequently replaced dispensing valve parts on any line running that valve. Made in a natural, translucent material with a 0.1 in inside diameter and a male-to-female fitting, this tube is the only part of the valve that ever touches the fluid being dispensed. Each pack holds 10 tubes, enough to keep a production cell stocked through several shifts without a parts run mid-week.
Where These Dispensing Valve Parts Get Used
The TS1212 is built specifically so 2-part epoxies, urethanes, and CA (cyanoacrylate) adhesives never touch a metal wetted surface. Swap the tube between chemistries or between production lots, and there is no cleaning step and no cross-contamination risk. Electronics assembly, potting, staking, and small-parts bonding cells that switch fluids often lean on this design because the tube is inexpensive to replace compared with cleaning a reusable valve body.
Fit and Handling for These Dispensing Valve Parts
Each tube seats into the TS1212 body in place of the prior one, and the pinch mechanism, driven by the valve piston, closes over the tube wall rather than through a seal that touches fluid. Replace the tube on a fixed schedule tied to shot count, or the moment a shot pattern looks inconsistent, whichever comes first. Keep a spare pack near the dispensing station so a mid-run swap takes seconds, not a trip to the stockroom.
