Choosing the Clear 10.2 oz Cartridge
- The cartridge carries nearly twice the material of the 5.5 oz squeeze tube, so you swap packages less often on longer runs.
- A caulking gun gives you trigger control over bead size, and the Newborn 250’s 18:1 thrust ratio pushes the bead steadily without a hard squeeze.
- Keep a few screw-on nozzles on hand. Cut a fresh tip for a different bead size without opening a new cartridge.
- Clear meets ASTM C834-05 Type C. If the spec calls for ASTM C920, order white instead.
- Clear sets up slower than white and takes about 2 weeks to turn clear. Cool, humid weather slows both.
