Integra Adhesives
The team at Integra has been involved with the surface industry since the mid 1980’s and have extensive practical knowledge and experience with all facets of fabrication. It is with this background that Integra focuses on the needs of its customers by consulting with fabricators and delivering products that meet industry needs. Each production batch is processed under vacuum at elevated temperature to polymerize the monomers until the desired viscosity is achieved. The mixture is then rapidly cooled to prevent the adhesive from hardening in the reactor. At this point the mixture is stabilized and various additives (adhesion promoters – cross linkers – tougheners etc) are mixed in to achieve the final properties. Samples are retained and QA certificates from each batch are stored and are available to the fabricator on request. These two-part systems deliver excellent clarity, bond strength, and polishability—making them a cornerstone of professional countertop fabrication. Ask an Adhesive Specialist Stone Seam Pro Knife-Grade MMA What Is Knife-Grade Epoxy? A knife-grade epoxy is a two-part adhesive designed to provide maximum strength, workability, and polishability in stone fabrication environments. Unlike flowing adhesives, its paste-like consistency stays in place on vertical surfaces, allowing fabricators to create perfect seams and edges without dripping or slumping. Consistency: Thick, spreadable, and non-slumping for vertical seams and miters. Strength: Formulated to outperform the substrate—stones will crack before the bond fails. Application: Used for miter seams, lamination build-ups, chip repairs, and edge joining. Polishability: Accepts polishing and tinting to match surrounding stone color and gloss. Cure Time: Available in both fast-setting and extended-working-time options to fit workflow needs. Compatibility: Bonds granite, quartz, marble, engineered stone, solid surface, and ceramics. At Chemical Concepts, we feature professional-grade options designed for clarity, cure speed, and superior performance on…

Clear Acrylic & Polycarbonate
Plastic Bonding Solutions Bonding Clear Acrylic and Polycarbonate Compare UV adhesives, cyanoacrylates, urethanes, MMA and solvent cements. Clear plastics can be challenging to bond cleanly. The right adhesive depends on the need for clarity, strength, weathering, shock resistance and curing speed. This guide helps fabricators select the best adhesives for bonding acrylic (PMMA) and polycarbonate (PC) in signage, shields, retail displays and protective enclosures. Ask Our Technical Team Clear plastic bonding chemistries Choosing an Adhesive for Clear Plastics Acrylic and polycarbonate bond well with many adhesive chemistries. The choice depends on clarity requirements, joint design, work time, temperatures and outdoor exposure. Polycarbonate often achieves substrate failure with the right adhesives while acrylic demands solvent cements or UV cure adhesives for the cleanest optical finish. UV adhesives create the most invisible bond lines Cyanoacrylates offer fast interior bonding but lack weather resistance Urethanes provide high clarity and flexibility for non-structural bonds MMA adhesives deliver strong structural bonds with slight amber tint possible Acrylic solvent cements chemically weld acrylic but are not recommended for polycarbonate Adhesive Options for Clear Acrylic and Polycarbonate UV Curable Adhesives Highest optical clarity and nearly invisible bond lines.
