In Part I of our blog duo on the construction industry, we reviewed three pretty different adhesives – a moisture-cured elastomeric sealant, a polyurethane foam, and a high temperature silicone. Although quite different, the one common trend among them, however, is their utility with construction style applications. We’ll close out this two-part blog with a few other products that are leveraged in the construction industry with great results and high praise.

It’s important to know that adhesive and fastener uses for the construction industry are not all exterior matters. There are many product options that address the interior assembly of building features, such a sink or countertop. The Sikadur 42 Grout-Pak is yet another construction adhesive tool from the experts at Sika. This grout system is a three-component, 100% solids epoxy base plate grout that is moisture tolerant. This particular type of grout package is best used for grouting under equipment, like heavy impact or vibratory machinery, reciprocating engines, compressors, pumps, presses, and more. It has also been used with success in grouting under crane rails and wind turbine tower bases.

TOP-SELLER – The CounterBalance Islandbar/Islandbar Kit is another interior assembly tool for use on cabinetry. This system allows for an exceptionally clean, floating look for kitchen countertops.
