  • The rivet tool forces the Deform-Nut into the drilled hole of the sandwich panel, aligning the threads into interlocking position. The deformation of the rivet nut can be adjusted by setting the tool.
• Inject two-part methacrylate adhesive
  • Ensure that the components mix properly before use, and inject adhesive directly into the hole.
• Remove excess adhesive
  • Extra adhesive should be removed promptly to avoid hardening.
• Apply the adjusting grub screw into the Deform-Nut
  • This squeezes the adhesive all around into the honeycomb, giving its superior tensile and shear strength.

After only a few hours, the adhesive will dry and the fastener system will be ready for structural application. The Deform-Nut is capable of withstanding 413 lbs. of pull force and 1,289 lbs. of shear strength.
