3M VHB 5952 Black High Bond Tape is a 45 mil double-sided acrylic foam tape for permanent bonding to metal, glass, powder coat, and plastics without screws, rivets, or welds. Surface Prep and Use
Clean and dry both surfaces with isopropyl alcohol and let them flash off before applying. Press the tape firmly to wet out the adhesive, and prime low surface energy plastics with a 3M adhesion promoter for the strongest bond. Bond strength builds over the first 72 hours at room temperature.
