Description
The 400 Series receiver head connects a Techcon 400 series dispenser to a 10cc syringe barrel through 3 feet of air tubing, forming the accident-proof link every pneumatic dispensing valve needs between controller and barrel. A fitted Viton o-ring seals the barrel connection and a male quick connector locks the assembly to the dispenser output.
How this dispensing valve accessory works
Air pressure from the 400 series controller travels down the 3 foot hose to the receiver head, which transfers pressure into the syringe barrel to drive fluid through the tip. The same dispensing valve platform also runs 6-foot hose and no-hose (R suffix) versions of this receiver head for different bench layouts. Shops pairing the barrel with a static mixer, a mixing nozzle, or a 2 part mixing nozzle for two-component dispensing use the identical receiver head regardless of which mixing nozzle follows the barrel, and a jb weld mixing nozzle setup for structural repair work runs the same 10cc barrel and receiver head combination. Keeping a spare receiver head on hand means a torn o-ring or a kinked hose does not stop a production line waiting on a single part. The quick connector lets a tech swap the whole assembly at the dispenser in under a minute, without disturbing the air supply routing to the rest of the bench.
