Description
The 400 Series receiver head in the R configuration connects a Techcon 400 series controller to a 35cc syringe barrel without pre-attached tubing, giving a rebuild crew the option to reuse existing hose runs on an established dispensing valve station. A fitted Viton o-ring seals the barrel connection.
How this dispensing valve receiver head differs
The R suffix marks the no-hose version of the 400 Series receiver head, built for benches that already have air line routed to the station and only need a fresh head and seal. The larger 35cc barrel size handles higher-volume shots than the 10cc version on the same dispensing valve platform. Stations running a static mixer, a mixing nozzle, or a 2 part mixing nozzle downstream use the identical receiver head regardless of mixing nozzle choice, and a jb weld mixing nozzle setup for two-component structural repair draws from the same 35cc barrel and receiver head combination. Ordering the no-hose configuration avoids paying for tubing a shop does not need when the bench air line is already routed and only the head and seal have failed. It also lets a maintenance team standardize hose length across a bench instead of inheriting whatever length ships with a bundled assembly. Keep a spare head on the shelf next to your syringe barrels so a torn o-ring or worn quick connector never idles a bench waiting on a single part during a production run.
