Description

The Techcon receiver head for the 700 Series 3cc format is the Delrin connector that mates a 3cc syringe barrel to the rest of your dispensing valve setup, sealed with a fitted Viton o-ring for an air-tight fit under working pressure.

Where This Techcon Receiver Head Gets Used

Assembly lines running 3cc barrels on a Techcon TS700 system use this receiver head to join the barrel to the air line feeding the controller. Its push/twist design lets an operator swap barrels fast when a job changes fluid or color, without tools and without breaking the air-line connection at the far end. That quick-change fit is what makes it practical on a line switching between adhesives, fluxes, or lubricants through the same setup several times a shift. Electronics manufacturers, potting shops, and light-assembly lines all keep a handful of these on hand for exactly that reason.

How the Dispensing Valve Connector Holds Up

The Delrin body resists the wear of repeated barrel changes far better than a molded plastic fitting, and the standard Viton o-ring holds a seal against most common dispensing fluids at up to 100 psi (6.9 bar). An EPR o-ring option exists for jobs where Viton is not the right chemical match, worth checking against your fluid’s data sheet before ordering in volume. Because the receiver head is a passive mechanical connector rather than a moving valve component, it needs no maintenance beyond an occasional o-ring swap over the life of the fitting.
