Description
The Albion caulk spatula set is a four-piece kit of plastic tooling blades for shaping and finishing sealant and caulk joints. Each spatula carries the Elliptical Spline Radius Tip, which pulls a clean concave bead in one pass across glazing, expansion, and panel joints.
What comes in the Albion caulk spatula set
- Four chemical-resistant, non-marking plastic spatulas in wider blade widths
- Tip widths of 1 inch, 1-1/4 inch, and 1-1/2 inch for different joint sizes
- Passive and aggressive tip profiles for light tooling or heavier bead removal
- Elliptical Spline Radius Tip that forms a uniform concave, hourglass cross-section
Where the Albion caulk spatula set fits
- Structural glazing and curtain wall sealant joints
- Expansion and control joints on panel and stone work
- Tooling silicone, polyurethane, and hybrid sealant beads
- Smoothing and striking caulk lines without gouging the substrate
The radius tip pulls a slightly recessed joint that sheds water and resists dirt pickup better than a flat-tooled bead. Because the blades are molded plastic rather than metal, they will not react with uncured sealant or leave gray marks on light stone and aluminum. Run a damp tool or a touch of tooling solution for the cleanest pull on silicone, and rinse the blades with solvent or warm water before the sealant skins over so the same set lasts across many jobs.
The plastic blades will not scratch finished surfaces, and the radius tip keeps a repeatable joint profile across a long run. Keep a set on the truck so crews always have the right blade width for the joint in front of them. Browse our dispensing tools and accessories for cartridge guns and nozzles to pair with it, and see the full tool line at Albion Engineering.
