Description
The Techcon TS16 aluminum hub needle is a 16 gauge, 1 inch dispensing tip built for fluids that destroy plastic hubs. The hub and cannula are metal from end to end, so it handles cyanoacrylates, anaerobics, solvents, and high pressure dispensing without swelling, cracking, or popping off the syringe. Each box holds 500 needles, which suits production lines that run continuous dispensing across a shift.
Where the aluminum hub needle works
Mount it on a luer lock barrel or dispensing valve to lay down a controlled bead of adhesive, grease, oil, or flux. The 16 gauge bore (roughly 1.2 mm inside) passes medium and heavy fluids at speed, and the 1 inch length reaches into shallow cavities and around fixtures without flexing. Electronics assembly, automotive, appliance, and general manufacturing lines use this gauge for potting, bonding, gasketing, and lubrication where a plastic tip would not survive the chemistry.
Why the aluminum hub needle lasts
An all metal build removes the solvent attack point at the hub joint, which is where color coded plastic tips usually fail. The needle threads on, stays on under valve pressure, and wipes clean for reuse instead of going in the bin after one fluid change. Consistent bore tolerance keeps shot size repeatable from the first needle in the box to the last.
