Description
The Keep-Nut KDM52 vacuum base is the Chem-Set venturi-vacuum fixture that anchors the KDM115 (electric) or KDM115A (pneumatic) drilling machine to stone, granite, engineered stone, ceramic, and other hard surfaces for repeatable anchor hole drilling. It runs on 85 PSI shop air at 1 CFM, holds itself in place on rough or even vertical surfaces, and has a quick-release feature so the operator can reposition between holes without shutting off the air line.

Solid surface and stone fabricators run the KDM52 for KEEP-NUT anchor installation work on ventilated facades, under-mount sinks, wall cladding panels, ceiling hanging panels, and furniture tops. The vacuum-foot grips polished and unpolished surfaces (including the underside of granite slabs) and lets the operator drill the precise cylindrical hole that a KEEP-NUT stainless press-in insert needs. Production shops use it on the bench for repetitive anchor work, and installers carry it to the field for facade and on-site fabrication.
How the Keep-Nut KDM52 vacuum base handles the work
The venturi block converts compressed air into a vacuum on the foot, so a 1/2 inch hose at 85 PSI delivers enough suction to hold the unit against drilling thrust. An adjustable reference guide on the base lets you set a consistent edge distance for every hole, and an integrated depth stop limits stroke for repeatable hole depth matched to the anchor length. The base accepts the KDM600E electric drill or the KDM680C pneumatic drill (each sold separately) via a clamping block, and a central water feed runs through the spindle for wet drilling and dust control.
