Description
SeaSnake™ is a one-part, easy-to-use adhesive engineered for wet and underwater environments.
It remains tacky in the presence of water and maintains strong bonds when applied and cured
underwater. Its thixotropic, non-sag consistency enables precise application on vertical or
overhead surfaces.
Key Features
- Adheres to metals, plastics, rubbers, wood, concrete, and more—even underwater.
- Retains tack in wet and submerged conditions for secure placement.
- Minimal surface preparation required before application.
- One-part system—no mixing; simple, clean application.
- Thick, non-sag formulation for any orientation.
Performance Highlights
| Test / Substrate | Result | Method / Condition |

| Adhesive Tensile Lap Shear — PMMA / Polycarbonate | 600 psi | ASTM D1002, applied & cured underwater, 7 days @ 75 °F |
| Rigid PVC, Hardwood, Concrete | Substrate failure | ASTM D1002, applied & cured underwater, 7 days @ 75 °F |
| Vertical Sag | 0.0 inches | ASTM D2202 |
| Relative Density | 1.3 | @ 72 °F |
| Weight | ~11 lb/gal | @ 72 °F |
Application
- Open cartridge: remove the sealed tip, cut the application tip to the desired bead size, and attach.
- Wipe bonding surfaces with a dry or damp rag to remove loose debris. (Light abrasion can improve adhesion; remove residue after abrading.)
- Apply a generous bead to the bonding surface.
- Use a shearing motion with a spatula, putty knife, or gloved finger to wet out the adhesive across the area to be bonded or sealed.
- Clean uncured excess with acetone or isopropyl alcohol.
Working & Cure Profile (Typical)
- Working time (underwater): ~20 minutes
- Working time (dry): ~1–2 hours
- Firm set (underwater): ~60 minutes
- Full cure (underwater): ~24 hours
