Description
Last Patch Gel from Bonstone is a UV stable stone patching gel built for glossy stone surfaces like granite, where color-matched repairs need to hold their finish outdoors for years, not months. Unlike patching compounds that yellow or chalk under sun exposure, Last Patch Gel stays clear and stable, which matters most on countertops, monuments, and exterior stonework that sits in direct light every day.
What this stone patching gel handles on the job
Last Patch Gel is built for patching chips, holes, spalls, and face pins, surface patching to dutchman joints, and crack repair from hairline width up to 1/4 inch. Fabricators also reach for it on cemetery and monument repairs, countertop repairs, and flooring and tile repair work where a fast-setting, high-gloss patch needs to disappear into the surrounding stone rather than stand out as an obvious repair.
The two-part gel sets fast and won’t shrink as it cures, so a patch stays flush with the surrounding surface instead of sinking below it after a day or two. It cures even below freezing when mixed with Bonstone’s Universal Accelerator, which matters for outdoor repair work scheduled outside of ideal shop conditions. Once cured, the high-gloss finish can be sanded down for a honed look when the surrounding stone has a matte or satin finish instead of full polish.
Kit sizes and color matching for this stone patching gel
Last Patch Gel ships in a 2 oz kit (1 oz Part A, 1 oz Part B) for small touch-up jobs, a pint kit (1 pint A with three 5 oz tubes of B) for shop runs, and a quart kit (1 quart A with six 5 oz tubes of B) for larger production or job-site work. Because the cured gel takes color, fabricators can dial in an exact match to the surrounding stone using Bonstone’s Touchstone Liquid tints rather than relying on a single fixed shade.
