Application Guidance
Bonding surfaces should be clean and free of dust, dirt and grease. Spray from approximately 6–10 in. (15–25 cm), applying a consistent coating without puddling. Recommended coverage is 80–100% with a minimum coat weight of 2.5–3.0 dry g/sq. ft.; porous surfaces may require two coats. Allow the adhesive to dry completely, then mate the surfaces and apply 40–60 PLI with a nip roller or suitable J-roller. Full bond strength develops in approximately 24–48 hours depending on temperature and humidity. Avoid copper/copper-alloy substrates and aluminum- or copper-containing application equipment.
Typical Use Cases
- Decorative laminate bonding
- Particle board and plywood lamination
- Hardwood fabrication
- Leather and rubber bonding
- Metal bonding where compatible
Target Industries and Buyers
