Description
The Beauclip marine fastener is a two-part snap fastening system that replaces grommets, rivets, and hook-and-loop tape for attaching canvas, awnings, tops, curtains, and covers to boats and other marine surfaces. Each Beauclip marine fastener pair snaps together to hold up to 15 lbs of working load, opens by hand for routine removal, and stands up to the seasonal cycling that marine canvas takes year after year.
Beauclip Marine Fastener Features
- Snap-together two-part system that replaces grommets, rivets, and Velcro-style hook-and-loop
- Holds up to 15 lbs per fastener pair
- UV stable for sustained outdoor and marine exposure
- Hand-operated, no special tool required to engage or release
- Compatible with most canvas, vinyl, and cover materials
- Lower-profile look than a standard riveted snap on canvas edges
The Beauclip system is widely used by boat builders, canvas shops, and aftermarket installers because installation is fast, the fasteners can be released and re-engaged repeatedly without wear, and the finished look stays cleaner than a typical grommet or riveted snap. Mounting hardware is sold separately for through-deck and stud-mount installation, and a removal tool is available where higher install volumes justify it. Plan layout so each Beauclip pair carries its share of the load and leave room for stretch in the canvas.
Beauclip Marine Fastener Applications
- Attaching canvas covers, dodgers, and biminis to boats
- Removable curtains and side panels on bimini and arch frames
- Awning and shade attachment on pontoons and cruisers
- Cover attachment on PWCs, jet skis, and small craft
- Any cycle-heavy snap location where a grommet would tear out the substrate
- Tradesman shop use on truck covers, trailer enclosures, and outdoor equipment
