Description
TensorGrip P321B is a polystyrene-safe contact adhesive built for laminating expanded and extruded polystyrene foam to itself and to a wide range of substrates. It bonds without attacking the foam cell structure, so panels keep their shape and the bond line stays clean. Spray both faces, let the adhesive flash, and mate the parts for an immediate grab.
Where TensorGrip P321B Is Used
Fabricators reach for this adhesive on insulated panel assembly, display and signage build-up, foam-to-board lamination, and prototype work where the foam would melt under a hot-solvent cement. It also bonds many porous and difficult substrates, including hardboard, plywood, fabric, and most laminates, which makes it a single product for mixed-material assemblies.
How TensorGrip P321B Holds Up
The adhesive reaches initial tack in roughly two to four minutes and offers a long open time, so larger panels can be aligned before the bond sets. Once cured the joint resists heat, moisture, and weather, and it delivers high coverage per canister to keep the cost per square foot down. The canister sprays best above 60 degrees F. Warm a chilled canister before use and never store the product above 120 degrees F.
Surface preparation is straightforward. Wipe both faces free of dust, oil, and loose particles, then apply an even spray pattern to each side. Coverage depends on substrate porosity, so test a small area first when bonding a new foam grade or laminate to confirm tack and final adhesion before committing a full panel.
