Primer 6 is intended for CHT 1K condensation and moisture-cure RTV silicone systems on metal substrates. Technical data identify it as a pale yellow liquid carried in alcohol. It is often selected where a silicone bead needs better grip to clean metal housings, brackets, channels, frames, or assemblies that will see handling, vibration, or thermal movement after cure.
Use it only after the surface is dry and clean. Remove oils, release agents, dust, and loose contamination before applying the primer. A thin, even coat is usually enough. For a new metal finish or coated surface, test a small area first to confirm the primer, substrate, and silicone system work together.
