Description
Devcon Floor Patch is a 10 lb epoxy concrete repair compound for patching spalled floors, retaining walls, masonry, brick, metal, and wood surfaces. It gives maintenance teams a trowelable repair material with 8000 psi compressive strength for plant floors and production areas that need a stronger patch than ordinary concrete.
Devcon Floor Patch Benefits
- 8000 psi compressive strength supports durable repairs in high-traffic industrial areas.
- Adhesion to concrete, brick, masonry, metal, and wood helps crews repair mixed substrates with one kit.
- Water, oil, solvent, and alkali resistance suits machine rooms, maintenance bays, and plant floors.
- 10 lb unit covers about 4 square feet at 1/4 inch thickness for spot repairs and small rebuilds.
- NSN stock number 8030-01-240-8318 supports government and maintenance purchasing records.
Use this compound when a floor chip, worn edge, or anchor pocket needs more than a cosmetic skim. It can also be used to anchor bolts in concrete when the repair area is cleaned and prepared correctly.
Devcon Floor Patch Applications
- Spalled concrete floor repairs around machinery, carts, and pedestrian traffic.
- Brick and masonry patching in maintenance rooms and facility repair work.
- Retaining wall repairs where a high-strength trowelable compound is needed.
- Concrete anchor bolt repairs and localized rebuilds.
- Industrial floor repairs in meat and poultry plant environments where the product is acceptable for use.
Surface Preparation And Use
Remove loose concrete, dust, oil, grease, and standing moisture before mixing. Sound material around the patch should be exposed so the repair can bond to clean substrate instead of weak surface contamination.
Mix the resin and hardener at the published ratio, then work the material into the repair with a trowel. Keep the area between 60 and 90 degrees F when possible, and protect the patch from traffic until it has reached functional cure.
Technical Details And Documentation
Published ITW Devcon data lists 8000 psi compressive strength, light gray color, 85D cured hardness, 5.5:1 mix ratio by weight, 4.5:1 mix ratio by volume, and full cure at 16 hours at 75 degrees F. Review current manufacturer information from Devcon before approving a repair procedure.
