Description
Reach for this cyanoacrylate gel when low-viscosity CA wants to run off the part. The 20 gram bottle of RP800-04 from the APS Gel line stays where you put it, fills small gaps, and works on porous substrates that drink up thin instant adhesives. Rubber, plastics, leather, cork, wood, and difficult-to-bond materials all benefit from the gel viscosity.
Where the cyanoacrylate gel earns its place
Thin CA flows fast and bonds in seconds, but it also wicks into cracks, drains off vertical surfaces, and disappears into porous materials before it can grip. The gel form holds the bond line where you set it. Apply a small bead to one side, mate the parts, hold for ten to thirty seconds, and walk away. The bond reaches handling strength in under a minute on most substrates.

How to get the most from this cyanoacrylate gel
Clean both surfaces with isopropyl alcohol and let them flash off. Apply gel to one surface only. Bring the parts together with light, even pressure for ten to thirty seconds. Skin formation happens fast on tight-fitting joints, so dry-fit before you commit the glue. For porous materials, a primer or activator can accelerate cure and improve consistency.
