Description
Surebonder 930R10 hot melt glue sticks are full-size 7/16 x 10 inch adhesive sticks for difficult-to-bond shop materials. The long 3 minute open time gives operators more adjustment room than quick-set packaging formulas, which helps when plastic, metal, wood, vinyl, glass, or ceramic parts need to be aligned before pressure locks the bond.
Where hot melt glue sticks fit
The 930R10 grade is a strong candidate for production cells that need a longer positioning window without moving to a liquid adhesive. It can support display work, fixture building, mixed-material assembly, cabinet components, light metal trim, and repair stations where parts are handled one at a time. The off-white stick format also makes it easier to see the adhesive path during setup on darker materials.
Run these sticks in a compatible full-size hot melt gun or bench applicator. Check that the melt system accepts the 7/16 inch diameter and 10 inch length, then tune bead size and dwell time around the substrate. Long open time does not remove the need for pressure. The parts still need firm contact while the adhesive cools and sets. Test the final joint on production substrates before a larger run, because surface texture and heat history can change the way hot melt wets the part.
