Hot Melt

Hot Melt Stick Adhesives

Industrial Hot Melt Adhesives

Surebonder, FastenMaster, and Turf-Set hot melts for templating, packaging, and assembly.

Hot melt stick adhesives deliver incredibly fast set times and reliable bonds for countertop templating, high-volume packaging lines, flooring work, and light assembly.

Whether you run a small fabrication shop or a massive carton-sealing line, we stock the industrial formulas you need in the exact stick sizes (1/2″, 5/8″, and Quadrack) to fit the glue guns you already own.

Find the Right Stick for Your Gun

Gun type dictates which hot melt you can use. We stock the three standard industrial sizes.

1/2″ Sticks

Most industrial sticks are technically 7/16″ in diameter, but are universally referred to as 1/2″. These fit all standard full-size glue guns.

5/8″ Sticks

Designed for higher-output industrial guns. The larger diameter provides significantly more adhesive per trigger pull for faster application.

Quadrack (5/8″ Ribbed)

A special ribbed 5/8″ profile that feeds incredibly smoothly in compatible high-output packaging and construction glue guns.

Top Applications for Hot Melt Sticks

Countertop Templating

The industry standard for bonding wood/foam templating strips for granite and quartz. Offers reliable tack, predictable open times, and clean removal back at the shop.

  • Survives transportation without bracing breaking.
  • Compatible with standard 1/2″ field guns.

Packaging & Carton Sealing

Lightning-fast set hot melts for closing corrugated cases, attaching inserts, and assembling boxes on busy packing lines.

  • High-speed sealing with 5–15 second set times.
  • FDA compliant formulas for indirect food contact.

Flooring & Construction

Formulas like FastenMaster FLEX combine hot melt speed with heavy-duty construction adhesive strength.

  • Installing carpet tack strips to concrete.
  • Hardwood starter rows, transitions, and interior trim.

Artificial Turf Installations

Specialty turf adhesives engineered for synthetic backings where extreme temperature swings and flexing are constant.

  • Outstanding cold flexibility to prevent winter cracking.
  • High heat resistance for dark, sun-baked infill.

General Assembly & Woodworking

A highly cost-effective way to assemble wood components, foam, textiles, and light plastics on the workbench or production line.

  • Furniture/cabinet assembly and temporary fixturing.
  • POP displays and foam insert manufacturing.

Signage & Metal/Plastic Bonding

Acrylic hot melt formulas provide strong, flexible bonds to metals, plastics, and concrete where standard EVA sticks fall short.

  • Attaching metal clips/brackets to signage panels.
  • Bonding vinyl and PVC trim to rigid substrates.
