Devcon Plastic Welder white is a 1:1 toughened acrylic structural adhesive in a 400 mL cartridge, formulated for load-bearing bonds on engineered plastics, fiberglass, composites, and difficult-to-prep metals. The 1:1 mix dispenses cleanly through a static mixer with minimal surface preparation, cures at room temperature, and reaches working strength in thin set, making it a fit for fast-turnaround production cells and field repair work alike.

Bonds PVC, ABS, FRP, PPO, PCBB, Metton, Lomod, Valox, Noryl, GTX, Minlon, epoxy laminate, RIM urethane, fiberglass, and wood in any combination. Holds up to outdoor weathering and solvent exposure, which makes it useful for transportation, marine, sign and display, and exterior architectural assembly. The non-sag white paste also works for vertical and overhead bond lines where a runny adhesive would slump or drip onto the next part.

How Devcon Plastic Welder white performs

The toughened acrylic chemistry takes the place of mechanical fasteners or higher-cost two-part urethanes on many engineered plastics. Mix ratio is 1:1 by volume through any standard 1:1 static mixer. Cures at room temperature without heat assist. Bond lines remain elastic enough to absorb impact and thermal cycling without cracking, which is why the formulation reads as “toughened” rather than rigid.
