Description
Devcon Plastic Welder White is a toughened structural adhesive built for plastics that are hard to bond well, from ABS and PVC to SMC, polycarbonate, polyester composites, and fiberglass, along with wood, concrete, ceramic, and metal. The 1:1 mix ratio and room-temperature cure make it straightforward to run on a bench or in the field without ovens, heat guns, or other special curing equipment.
Structural Adhesive Performance
This toughened adhesive is formulated for superior impact and peel resistance compared to standard plastic cements, which matters on parts that flex or take repeated impact rather than sitting under a static load. It requires only minimal surface preparation, cures at room temperature, and reaches a rapid fixture even in a relatively thin glue line, with a non-sagging formula that stays in place on vertical joints instead of running before it sets. That combination of quick fixture and non-sag handling makes it practical for overhead and vertical repairs where the part cannot be laid flat while curing.
Structural Adhesive Substrates and Ordering
Devcon Plastic Welder White bonds PVC, fiberglass, ABS, FRT, PPO, and engineering resins such as Metton, Lomod, Valox, Noryl, and Minlon, along with epoxy, RIM urethane, wood, and poorly prepared surfaces, including joints exposed to outdoor weathering or solvent contact. The 47ml unit weighs about 0.15 lb, measures roughly 1 x 2 x 5 in, and is supplied as a two-component, 1:1 system sized for a standard 50ml two-component dispensing gun, so it drops into the same gun a shop already uses for similar cartridge adhesives. Volume pricing is available starting at 60 units and again at 120 units for shops running through this adhesive regularly.
