Leister HEMTEK ST Benefits
The Leister HEMTEK ST is a stationary hot-air welder built for fast, repeatable hem and seam work on banners, tarps, and technical textiles. Once mounted to a table, it welds from corner to corner without a hand tool finishing pass. A foot pedal frees both hands to guide the material, which keeps long welds straight and consistent. The strong blower motor and adjustable parameters support a wide range of materials, and a cooldown mode protects the unit at the end of a run.
Common Applications
Shops use the HEMTEK ST for banner and sign making, awning manufacturing, pole pocket and hem welding, pool and protective covers, and truck tarpaulin work. One hem guide covers three jobs: closed hems to 30 mm, pole pockets up to 100 mm, and hems with rope. Tool-free hem guide setting and a freely adjustable quick-clamp lock let it mount to almost any table.
Specifications
The HEMTEK ST runs on 120 V at 1800 W with a temperature range of 100 to 650 C and a drive speed of 2.6 to 39.4 feet per minute. Unit size is 59.1 x 27.6 x 59.1 inches and noise emission is 70 dB (K = 3 dB). Choose the 20mm (article 157.871), 30mm (article 157.870, most popular), or 40mm (article 157.869) weld width.
