Description
Triac ST Benefits
The Leister Triac ST is a hand-held hot air tool built for welding and processing plastic membranes. A robust brushless motor, modern temperature control, and high dust resistance give the heating element a long service life and steady welding power across long shifts. The bar-style body lets you weld overhead, on the floor, and in tight spaces. At under 1 kg the ergonomic two-component handle holds a balanced center of gravity for control under hard conditions. An actively cooled protective tube guards against burns and a carbon brake protects the tool from overload.
Common Applications
Welding and processing of thermoplastic membranes, roofing membrane work, vinyl and PVC flooring, banner and tarp welding, shrinking, and plastic fabrication. Over 80 attachment nozzles and accessories such as overlap nozzles, quick-weld and drawing nozzles, and reflectors adapt the tool to the job.
