Description
LORD Maxlok MX/T6S is a two-component acrylic adhesive used to bond metals, plastics, and composites in structural assembly. It is designed for applications where welding, brazing, riveting, or other mechanical fastening methods are being replaced. The 415ml cartridge replaces the previous 375ml size and dispenses at a 1:4 mix ratio using compatible applicator equipment. The MX/T6S system is UL 746C certified.

Performance in Production
- Non-sag paste stays in position on vertical and overhead surfaces without slumping before cure.
- Glass bead content (0.010 in / 0.025 cm diameter) controls bondline thickness for consistent, repeatable assemblies.
- 6 to 9 minute working time at 77°F supports manual and semi-automated dispensing workflows.
- Handling strength reached in 20 to 24 minutes at room temperature, supporting production flow without extended fixturing.
- Full cure at 24 hours at room temperature. Cure rate can be accelerated with modest heat below 150°F (66°C).
- Resists dilute acids, alkalis, solvents, greases, oils, moisture, salt spray, and weathering when fully cured.
- Provides excellent resistance to indirect UV exposure.
- UL 746C certified for use in sign and electrical enclosure bonding applications on aluminum, stainless steel, and cold-rolled steel substrates.
- Flammable. Do not store or use near heat, sparks, or open flame.
- Store at 40 to 50°F (4 to 10°C). Allow product to return to room temperature before use. Protect from direct sunlight.
