Description
MACtransfer 210 is a 30 inch application tape for moving weeded cut vinyl from its liner to the finished surface in one piece. Translucent saturated paper, 4.3 mil, coated on one side with a medium tack pressure sensitive adhesive. It lifts a graphic off the backing sheet, holds every letter and element in register while the installer sets the position, then peels away and leaves the vinyl behind. This is an installation carrier, not a bonding adhesive.
Medium tack is the balance point for wide format work. It pulls hard enough to lift a full graphic as a unit, and releases easily enough that fine cut detail stays on the substrate instead of coming back up with the paper. The translucent stock lets an installer read the artwork position against panel lines, edges, and reference marks, which an opaque carrier does not allow.
The 30 in width covers most vehicle door graphics, banner panels, and window lettering in a single pass, without the handling weight of a wider roll. Paper stock takes a pencil mark and trims clean with a knife or a snap blade.

Working With 30 Inch Application Tape
Squeegee the tape down onto the weeded vinyl with firm, even pressure so the adhesive makes contact across the whole graphic, including the small interior cuts. Lift the graphic with the backing liner still attached, then remove the liner. Set one edge on the clean, prepared substrate and squeegee from the center outward to push air toward the edges. Once the vinyl has grabbed, peel the paper back at a low angle, roughly parallel to the surface, rather than lifting it straight up.
Final results depend on the vinyl face stock, its release liner, the substrate surface energy, temperature, dwell time, and squeegee pressure. Run a representative piece before committing a production job.

Choosing a Width
Width should track the widest graphic a shop cuts regularly. A 30 in roll handles the bulk of vehicle and window work and is easier to control on a table by one person.
