Mactac MACtransfer 210 Medium Tack Vinyl Application Tape (ST1000)

Description

MACtransfer 210 application tape is a translucent saturated-paper transfer material with a medium-tack pressure-sensitive adhesive. It is designed to lift and position medium and large cut-vinyl decals, letters, striping, legends, and logos while keeping the graphic aligned during installation. The paper construction also makes the tape useful as temporary protection for selected finished surfaces during fabrication, storage, shipment, and handling.

Installing MACtransfer 210 Application Tape

Apply the tape to weeded vinyl with firm, even squeegee pressure so the adhesive contacts the entire graphic. The translucent paper lets an installer see the general position of the artwork while preserving enough stiffness to move larger shapes as a unit. After the liner is removed, place the graphic on a clean, prepared surface and squeegee from the center outward. Peel the application tape back at a low angle after the vinyl has bonded to the substrate.

Medium-Tack Transfer Control

Medium tack balances pickup strength with controlled release for medium and large graphics. It avoids the aggressive pull associated with application tapes intended for very small letters and fine lines. The 4.3 mil saturated-paper stock provides handling support across wider graphics, while its matte white translucent appearance remains easy to mark and trim. Final performance depends on the vinyl face stock, release liner, substrate energy, temperature, dwell time, and installation pressure, so a representative trial is recommended before production use.
