Description

The Medmix 50ml B-System empty 4:1 ratio cartridge gives you a clean, reliable way to package and dispense two-component adhesives in the field or on the line. Each cartridge is molded from PBT, the plastic recommended for acrylic chemistries such as MMA (methyl methacrylate) and related two-part acrylic formulas. The 4:1 volume ratio keeps the two parts metered correctly so the adhesive cures as the formulator intended. Every cartridge ships empty with the matching sealing pistons and reseal-able cap, so you fill it, seal it, and store it until you are ready to dispense.

This is the B-System format, identified by its gray cap and used with orange static mixing nozzles that have gray inlets. The B-System keeps the two components fully separated in storage, which prevents cross-contamination between the resin and hardener sides. The pin-style sealing pistons install easily, let trapped air escape as they seat, and lock closed with a push of the blue pin. To dispense, you load the filled cartridge into a matching 50ml manual or pneumatic gun and fit a B-System static mixer to the outlet.

Surface Prep and Use

Fill the empty cartridge with your two-part adhesive, insert the sealing pistons, and release trapped air before locking the blue pins. Seat the reseal-able cap for storage. When ready to apply, remove the cap, load the cartridge into a matching 50ml B-System dispensing gun, attach a B-System static mixer, and purge a short bead to confirm even flow before bonding. Surfaces should be clean, dry, and free of oil or release agents per your adhesive supplier’s instructions.
