Description
The Cox MPD 50 is a manual two-component cartridge gun that dispenses 50 mL dual cartridges in 1:1 and 2:1 mix ratios. It loads through an open breech, drives both cartridge chambers together, and feeds a static mixing nozzle so the adhesive comes out fully blended. The 16:1 mechanical advantage keeps output smooth even with stiffer two-part chemistries.
Where the Cox MPD 50 is used
Assembly benches and repair shops use the Cox MPD 50 for small-batch structural adhesives, anchoring compounds, and potting epoxies packaged in 50 mL side-by-side cartridges. The 1:1 and 2:1 plungers cover the two most common ratios in that cartridge size, so a single gun serves a range of products without swapping tools. That suits a bench that runs several small-volume adhesives and wants one applicator to cover most of them.
How the Cox MPD 50 performs
The body is rigid glass-reinforced nylon, light in the hand but strong enough for repeated dispensing. A non-drip mechanism backs the plungers off at the end of a pull to stop material from oozing between beads. Maximum thrust is 3.5 kN, and plunger kits are available if you later need to add other mix ratios. The light nylon frame keeps hand fatigue down on repeat dispensing, while the rigid construction holds alignment so the plungers track straight into the cartridge.
