Pacer TX-750 High Temperature Cyanoacrylate, 650-850 cP

Description

The TX-750 high temperature adhesive is a single component cyanoacrylate rated for continuous service up to 300 degrees F, built specifically for wire tacking and component bonding on printed circuit boards before and after wave soldering. Pacer Technology’s TX chemistry holds up on plain boards, solder masked boards, and boards that go through a water washing step after assembly.

Where TX-750 High Temperature Adhesive Is Used

Electronics assemblers reach for it to tack wires and small components in place ahead of wave soldering, since the bond has to survive the solder pot’s heat without softening or releasing the part early. The formula also performs on chromate conversion coatings and oily parts where a standard cyanoacrylate would struggle to wet the surface, making it a fit for connector housings, sensor leads, and other assemblies that carry light residual oil from prior machining steps.

How It Performs

At 650 to 850 cP, this adhesive runs thick enough to stay put on a vertical board edge or a wire bundle instead of wicking away from the joint. The slow cure profile gives an assembler a brief window to align a component before the bond sets, and gap fill runs up to 0.010 in, wide enough to bridge the small standoffs common on populated boards. Cured joints develop impact strength in the 10 to 15 lbs per square inch range and the formula meets MIL-A-46050C Type II Class 3.
