Description

Permabond® ASC10 is a rapid-drying anaerobic activator designed to accelerate the cure of anaerobic adhesives and sealants, particularly on inactive or passive materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, zinc plating, cadmium plating, glass, and painted surfaces. It enhances adhesive performance on difficult-to-bond materials, speeds up curing at low temperatures, and improves bonding on poorly mated parts.

ASC10 meets MIL-SPEC MIL-S-22473E (Grades N & T) and MIL-S-46163A (Type N & T), ensuring high reliability and performance in military and industrial applications. It leaves a thin initiator film on treated surfaces, allowing bonding up to 30 days after application. Its non-halogenated solvent formula ensures it is environmentally friendly and free of ozone-depleting agents.

Directions for Use

1. Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and grease-free before application.
2. Apply ASC10 by wiping with a clean cloth or brush, spraying, or dipping one component.
3. Allow ASC10 to evaporate completely before applying anaerobic adhesive to the untreated second component.
4. Assemble parts as required. Handling time and cure speed will depend on the substrates and adhesive used.
5. For maximum bond strength, allow adhesive to cure for 24 hours at 23°C (73°F).

🔹 Important: Do not mix ASC10 directly with anaerobic adhesives. Always apply separately.
