Description
This is the 400ml twin cartridge of Plexus MA310, a two-part, 1:1 methacrylate structural adhesive for thermoplastic, metal, and composite assemblies. It is the production size: more adhesive per changeover and less of each cartridge lost to mixer purges. It runs in a 400ml 1:1 manual or pneumatic gun with a static mixer. Using the 400ml Cartridge
- A pneumatic gun holds steady flow over long beads and cuts operator fatigue on production runs. A manual 400ml gun covers lower-volume work and field jobs.
- Purge one mixer’s length at every mixer change. On a 400ml cartridge that purge is a smaller share of the package than on a 50ml.
- The working time lets one operator run several beads or set a large panel before the adhesive starts to set. Adhesive left in the mixer past that window cures in place, so fit a fresh mixer after breaks.
- Hold cartridge temperature steady through the year. Both components thicken in the cold and thin out in the heat, which changes how the gun dispenses.
- Rotate stock to stay inside the shelf life.
